Local deliveries
Bulk deliveries across Logan.
Logan covers everything from compact estate homes to acreage in Park Ridge, Logan Village and Munruben. Acreage jobs often mean long driveways, house pads and big lawns, so orders tend to be larger.
Road base is the usual choice for acreage driveways and shed pads. Recycled concrete is a cheaper alternative that also makes a good sub-base for access roads and driveways.
Local ground conditions
What to know about building in Logan City
Logan has many newer estates where topsoil was stripped and the ground is compacted fill or clay. New lawns and gardens on these blocks almost always need imported soil. Plan on under turf soil for turf and garden soil for beds rather than planting into the existing ground.
| Common job in Logan City | What to order |
|---|---|
| New-estate lawns | Premium under turf soil 100mm |
| Garden beds on fill | Premium garden soil 200–300mm |
| Paths and side access | 20mm river stone or crusher dust |

Which truck will you send to my Logan address?
It depends on how much you order and how easy your site is to reach. Our 13-tonne body truck handles tight access, the 17-tonne twin steer suits most jobs, and the 33-tonne truck and dog needs room to turn.
