Local deliveries
Bulk deliveries across the Gold Coast.
We cover the northern Gold Coast along the M1 corridor, where new estates in Pimpama, Coomera and Ormeau sit alongside established canal and coastal suburbs.
Coastal gardens often sit on sandy ground that drains fast and dries out. Garden soil to build up beds, and mulch to hold moisture, are popular orders here.
Local ground conditions
What to know about building in Gold Coast
Soils change a lot across the Gold Coast: sandy near the beaches and canals, heavier clay out west and in the hinterland. Sandy yards drain quickly and need soil improvement for lawns and gardens; clay yards need drainage and a good base. Salt spray near the coast favours hardy lawns such as Zoysia and Sir Walter.
| Common job in Gold Coast | What to order |
|---|---|
| Sandy coastal lawns | Premium under turf soil, then turf |
| Pool surrounds and paths | 20mm river stone |
| Pavers and patios | Crusher dust plus bedding sand |
